India vs Pakistan blockbuster on 23rd October as we see full official schedule for T20 World Cup 2022.
The T20 World Cup 2022 is just a few weeks away, and it officially begins on October 16. A total of 16 teams are going to participate in the tournament. The tournament is divided into two phases. A total of 8 teams will play Round 1 before moving on to the Super 12 stage.
These 8 teams are divided into Group A and Group B. Sri Lanka, UAE, Namibia and Netherlands have been placed in Group A. While West Indies, Scotland, Ireland and Zimbabwe have been placed in Group B. The top two teams from each group are placed. Thereafter the Super 12 will proceed to the stage. Here is the official schedule for the Round 1 stage of the T20 World Cup 2022.
Already 8 teams have pre-qualified in the Super 12 stage. These 8 are already divided into Group 1 and Group 2. Australia, New Zealand, England and Afghanistan are part of Group 1. While India, Pakistan, South Africa and Bangladesh are part of Group 2. Four more teams from round 1 will then be added to the Super 12 group.
Aaa In the Super 12 stage, each team will play the other 5 teams of their respective group once. The top 2 teams from each group will then proceed to play the semi-finals. The Grand Finale will be played in Melbourne on 13 November.
Team India's schedule for T20 World Cup 2022:
Talking about the Indian team's schedule for the T20 World Cup 2022, it will start with the blockbuster India vs Pakistan match in Melbourne on 23 October. India will then play Round 1 runners-up on 27 October and South Africa on 30 November. In the last two matches of Super 12, India will play Bangladesh on 2 November and the winner of Group B on 06 November.

ICC T 20 WORLD CUP 2022 FULL SHEDULE DECLARED
The tournament will run between Sunday 18 October and Sunday 13 November, with 16 teams set to compete and seven cities to host matches across Australia. Twelve of those 16 nations are already confirmed, with the final four to be determined by Global Qualifying.
And the excitement of the opening weekend doesn’t stop there, with India and Pakistan scheduled to meet on Sunday 23 October, the second day of the Super 12 stage, in what will be one of the most hotly-anticipated matches of the tournament.
The Super 12 will run for a fortnight, with the two groups set to reach their conclusion on the weekend of the 5th and 6th of November.

In addition to the Australia v New Zealand and Pakistan v India matches on the opening weekend, a scattering of other fixtures stand out as likely key games in the Super 12 stage.
There will be a repeat of the 2021 semi-final between England and New Zealand when the two nations meet in an evening match at The Gabba on Tuesday 1 November in what is both teams’ penultimate group game.
And Pakistan are scheduled to face Bangladesh in Adelaide on the final afternoon of the Super 12 stage.
